I had high hopes for this because the family PC is in the same room as the tv and it would be nice to be able to use the keyboard in the dark. However, after only 2 weeks of light use the several keys and the spacebar just stopped working. I did a search online and apparently this is a common problem. I did not try a second one given the history. I'll wait until one of the major manufacturers comes out with a similar product.......
While the changing colors are cool and it seems to sturdy and far as data input ... so what is the BIG problem!?
The paint or what ever it is is quickly fading from my keys ... when I bought this key board I thought the letters were etched under the keys so the light would shine though ... Nope!
So far I can not read the R,T,I,O,P,A,S,G,H,K,L,C,B,N,M and the PERIOD.
While this is not a huge problem with me since I know the QWERTY keyboard reasonable well ... it is a BIG problem for my six year old son who is trying to learn to type, so much so I am thinking of just putting back an old Dell keyboard.
I would NOT have bought this key board if I had it to do again.
The lights DO NOT make up for the fading letters.......
Very satisfied. Even works on a Mac. You need to get a key mapper to get the special keys to work the way you want. It is a little bulky. But works much better with my large fingers anyway.The illumination is satisfactory. I like the way you can adjust the brightness and the 3 different colors is a nice change from time to time. Considering the price and quality I would recommend this product.......
Love this keyboard...colors are bright when sitting at my desk at night with the lights off. Smooth typing...not a lot of noise... almost silent to be honest. I won't ever go back to a regular keyboard again...and the price is fantastic at Amazon.......
I love this keyboard. Not only does it look really cool, but I can now type in the dark!! I like the option of the three colors or no light at all.The price was good and the keyboard far exceeded my expectations. You gotta get one of these!......
